En correspondencia con lo establecido en las leyes No. 140, "De los tribunales de justicia" y 146, "De los tribunales militares"; y sus respectivos reglamentos, el Consejo de Estado, mediante su Acuerdo No. 37-X, convocó al proceso de elección de los jueces legos del Tribunal Supremo Popular, por la Asamblea Nacional del Poder Popular, y del resto de los tribunales de justicia por las asambleas municipales del Poder Popular, el cual debe concluir el 28 de febrero de 2024.
