On Wednesday, the National Meeting of Young Jurists and Law Students, which started in Havana with the participation of students, professors and personalities related to the Cuban legal field, began at the headquarters of the Supreme People's Court (TSP) on Wednesday.
The program of the event, in addition to the conferences and panels, contemplated a tour of the headquarters of the TSP, where visitors appreciated the architectural and artistic values of the property and the opportunity to know, in greater depth, the operation and structure of the judicial system Cuban.
A special moment passed during the presentation of The Book of Constitutions, with the key words of Dr. Eduardo Torres Cuevas, director of the National Library of Cuba, who commented on the process of editing the three volumes that make up the publication and several anecdotes about the constituent assemblies that have been held in the more than 200 years of Cuban constitutional history.
The Minister of Justice and representatives of the other legal bodies of the country and gave lectures on the operation of the institutions they run. The interventions were focused on the missions attributed to their entities, the key areas that demand more attention, which include institutional communication and computerization of processes and procedures.
In the meeting, sponsored by the National Union of Jurists of Cuba, students and professors from all over the country participated.
