In a videoconference held with the presidents and vice-presidents of the provincial courts of Cuba, and several guests, the president of the Supreme People's Court (TSP), Rubén Remigio Ferro, updated the measures adopted by the judicial bodies for the prevention and control of the new coronavirus .
One of the main indications is to reduce as much as possible the celebration of the judicial acts, and those that are carried out will be with the minimum necessary personnel as far as the public is concerned. It was also revealed in the videoconference that activities that by their nature expose the health of the personnel who work in the courts to be suspended or postponed.
It was insisted on maintaining discipline and the requirement in the disinfection norms of the workspaces, at the family and individual levels, as well as in continuing to promote remote work, according to the possibilities of each activity.
Likewise, it was oriented to continue adopting the sanitary measures guided by the Public Health authorities and to comply with the Plan for the prevention and control of the new SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus. (COVID-19), prepared for the Court System.
The Chief Justice of the Supreme Court concluded the exchange with a message for everyone: Be very careful, you are very valuable.
