VI International Justice and Law Meeting

VI Encuentro Internacional Justicia y Derecho

It was characterized by the wide attendance of magistrates, judges and other jurists from 15 countries and two international organizations, and with the presence of 250 Cuban delegates and 230 from other latitudes. It was also honored with the participation of prominent Cuban authorities and personalities and sister nations, including:

Doctor Gonzalo Hurtado Zamorano, President of the Supreme Court of Justice of the Plurinational State of Bolivia;

Doctor Omar Alfredo Mora Díaz, First Vice President of the Supreme Court of Justice of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela;

Dr. Petr Serkov, First Vice President of the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation;

Dr. Sergei Movchan, Auditor of the Accounts Chamber of the Russian Federation;

Doctor Elías Carranza, President of the United Nations Latin American Institute for Crime Prevention and Treatment of Offenders;

Dr. Tania Áreas Manzano, Vice President of the Council of the Judiciary of Ecuador; and

Dr. Ninoska Keipo, President of the Criminal Chamber of the Supreme Court of Justice of Venezuela.
Participating countries:
Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Guatemala, Mexico, Panama, Peru, Venezuela, Spain, Portugal and Russia, Mozambique and Cuba as host country.
