Again the Supreme People's Court is filled with the vital energy that emanates from the young people who come to forge dreams and drink of wisdom.
On this occasion, the protagonists are the students of the Raúl Cepero Bonilla Polytechnic who prepare as a Middle Technician in Law and see their professional future in an institution that has, as vocation and reason for being, the impartation of justice.
During the visit, the young people admired the heritage value of the property in its centenary of construction (1917-1919) and the care with which historical memory is preserved. They learned about the values that characterize their workers and especially appreciated the exchange with those who work in the judicial secretariats, a specialty in which they are trained as future legal professionals.
The students welcomed the life story of Deysi, who has been dedicated to the judicial service for more than 30 years. They felt very close to the words of Nazarena and Leonardo, who from their youth vision and commitment told how much they appreciate the opportunity to serve in such an important task and the possibilities they have of professional and personal growth in the Court System.
The young people received with emotion the presence of Seila María de los Ángeles García, a vital and octogenarian woman whom everyone affectionately calls Nené, and who since 1959 delivers her talent and energies as a secretary in favor of judicial activity. With a closed applause they rewarded her when she said: I can't conceive of living without my court.
The vice president of the (TSP), Farah Saucedo Pérez, who cordially shared with the young visitors, said she felt happy and excited about the exchange, because she glimpsed the promising future if there are young people like that. He urged them to continue cultivating values and knowledge that will make them good professionals that they can count on. He also assured them that the doors of the Court System will always be open to receive them.
Prior to the meeting, the young students of Middle Technician in Law exchanged with magistrates and judicial secretaries and all together celebrated the 30th anniversary of the Convention on the rights of the child, which Cuba is fulfilling and of which they are faithful evidence.
